Jaipurians at Summer Camp

Many of us have really fantastic and beautiful memories of summer camps. This time of the year is loved by all as it provides the much-needed break to students from their routine of attending academic classes. It is usually extremely interactive in nature and the students feel at ease while learning their favourite activities intensively. Keeping this in mind, Seth Anandram Jaipuria school Mirzapur organized an 8 days summer camp, which began from 22nd May 2022 and culminated on 29th May 2022 in the school premises. Fun filled activities for the anxious children was a delightful treat. It gave them an opportunity to learn new skills. More than 150 students enthusiastically participated from Pre-primary to class 8 in different activities.

This Summer Camp aimed at keeping the students engaged & provided them an even platform to explore and express their creativity, in any form. They not only made memories while having fun but they were able to face their fears, try new things, pushed their boundaries and realized self-sufficiency. They were able to make new friends as students from different schools of Mirzapur actively participated in our summer camp.They had a lot of fun& learnt team spirit.

The teachers at our school volunteered to help organize the summer camp, so that it is an unforgettable experience for everyone. 

The Camp provided some hands-on experiences in the following areas:

  • Dance: Western & Zumba
  • Calligraphy
  • Clay modelling
  • Computer hobby classes
  • Art & Craft, Sketching
  • Music
  • Cooking without fire
  • Shooting
  • Badminton
  • Cricket
  • Spoken English
  • Swimming (classes 1 to 3)
  • Vedic / Abacus maths

At the end of the camp children were asked to share what they had learnt with everyone. This was a really interesting activity as they got to listen to everybody’s perspective about the importance of the camp. 

The exuberant learners zealously participated & showcased their diligence towards each planned activity of their choice. The essence of this camp was to develop a sound character of each student & ultimately the motto was achieved. This Summer Camp was earnestly appreciated not only by the participants but also by their parents. The overwhelming acknowledgement through their reviews and feedback was a motivating factor for the entire SAJS family.
